Monday Night

The Swamp, Gainesville’s most famous restaurant, was having a normal “Summer A-Monday” until every bro on campus realized it was Summer B. Hordes of seasoned Swamp-goers accompanied by the freshest of  freshman descended upon The Swamp just before midnight. One report stated there was a point where the wait to enter was nearly an hour long.

Wednesday Night

Midtown madness ensued on the first Wednesday of Summer B. Gator City, XS, Grog House, Balls and Salty Dog were all slammed. Thursday Night

This Thursday, Uber Promotions brought you Eight Seconds. For those of you newbies, :08 is an enormous venue with no shortage of beer, babes, and boots.  Needless to say I had a great time.

The Vault Thursday

Special Guest DJ Sesbastian Morxx visited The Vault this Thursday evening and rocked the dance floor all night long. I was fortunate enough to swing by and capture a few moments of what was an amazing night.

That’s about all for the hip happenings so far this week. Now Friday through Sunday eagerly await.

• Hipsters are no longer supporting PBR. Someone should let Spannk and The Atlantic know they’re gonna need some new drink specials.
• From Miami With Love – gonna be one of the biggest parties thrown this summer, featuring yours truly. Mark down June 11th.
• The Artisans’ Guild Gallery is open at Santa Fe college. Feel classy after vomming all over Midtown the night before by checking out some free art the day after.
• Tired of the 2am curfew in Gainesville? Follow this group for updates on changing the local legislation for “soft” closing times.
• The top mugshot this week. I heard a rumor Kanye will be rocking the same haircut for the MTV awards.
• Stay up to date with Gainesville’s House music scene by following the Summer House Sessions.
