29.Dec.2011 Madeon + FEED ME at The Beacham - Lazaroc
This past Tuesday night Orlando got an after x-mas treat, Madeon and Feed Me at The Beacham Downtown Orlando.

I had heard about this show before I got back home to Orlando but was hesitant to drop the $25 into a ticket for acts that I’ve heard mentioned by friends and blogs I frequent but that I don’t listen to on a regular. I’m really happy I did because this show will go down as one of my highlights of 2011.
French producer Madeon hit the stage at midnight to a near capacity crowd at The Beacham. The massive line outside was slowly trickling in but once inside concert goers were quick to throw their hands in the air for the 17 year-old prodigy. This guy is truly the future of electronic music, if Madeon was pulled off the performance at this age, there is no telling where he’ll be in 5-10 years.
English producer Jon Gooch, better known as “FEED ME” released a non-stop barrage of of hard hitting, low end heavy tracks on the bass hungry crowd. Mixed with the extremely loud and chest thumping sound and vivid visuals at The Beacham, the crowd was hungry for more. At about 2:30 am when it was announced that this would be his last song, the crowd begged for more. Here’s a little bit of that encore.
Looking forward to a huge 2012 for these two. Check em out if you get the chance.
- Extremely long line to get into the venue
- PBR? Were they not serving PBR?
- Sound was too loud, definitely (should always) bring earplugs next time I’m at The Beacham
+ Really fun crowd
+ Lighting provided some really sweet visuals, added a nice touch
+ Being able to scope the show from the stairways on the side of the venue
The behemoth of a music festival/vacation known as “Holy Ship” is now rearing its beautiful beautiful face and will begin embarkation a week from tomorrow. This is the maiden voyage of what will hopefully be an annual adventure. Musical acts include
