07.Sep.2009 New Tailgate Technologies - Lazaroc

Over the course of game day weekend it became evident that human evolution is real. The creation of new and inspiring tailgate technologies will allow us to drink and play in ways never before possible. I am sure that there are still plenty of new inventions that have not yet been unleashed yet this football season but will be soon.

New in the chugging beers/binge drinking department is the
Bierstick.

Bierstick
Bierstick means Beerstick for all of you out there who don’t happen to speak German. The Beerstick is touting itself as the new beer bong. Allowing you to successfully chug 24 oz of beer in 2 seconds. This thing looks dangerous and should be avoided at all costs unless of course your tailgating for college football. The chicks in the ads make it look like fun or just fun to look at. However, I have reservations about putting my mouth on anything that requires someone else to shove liquids down my throat.

Next up in the binge drinking department is a new cooler from jagermeister.
jager-cooler
It holds up to six bottles of jager, ice, and room for other drinks. Two of the bottles are able to hook up to the tap outside allowing for ice cold shots all day. Its pretty much a mobile Jagerator. If you’re down with that kinda horrible licorice taste and blacking out while the suns up, this is for you.

In the tailgating sports arena is a new contender with our beloved cornhole, I bring to you
Kan Jam.

HowToPlayInstructional
A really simple and intuitive game where teammates try to finesse a frisbee disc through or into a goal. First to hit exactly 21 points without landing on 13 and returning to 0 is the winner. A disc through the slit on the front of the goal automatically sends the opposing team walking, but trust me its difficult. I would really love to see this expand through campus and put those bean bags to rest for good.
